What Tea Are You Drinking Now?

What Tea are you Drinking Now? I have always had a love affair with tea. It started when I was younger and wanted to be more like my grandmother. She was a tea drinker and made it look so elegant. She didn’t drink any special tea or have a daily ritual but it had a profound affect on me as a young girl.

Having a cup of tea also takes me back to spending time with my grandmother and that always makes me smile.

Lately, I have been really into green tea, especially the Tazo Zen tea. This has the perfect blend of green tea with lemongrass and spearmint. It’s my new favorite. And with green tea, you get tons of benefits!

One of my other favorite ways to enjoy tea is at the spa. There is something so special about drinking freshly brewed tea while you are waiting for a massage or facial. I would love to say I get to the spa often but I don’t. But you can get the same sense of calm while enjoying a cup of tea in the bathtub — trust me it’s a great way to relax.

Drinking tea also gives me an excuse to use my favorite tea cups and saucers. My fascination with tea cups started with my Aunt Carol. She collected tea cups and saucers and I thought that was so sophisticated!

  1. I have been drinking a blend of turmeric and ginger. I buy it in tea bags, but also make my own with the roots. I drink tea every morning and sometimes in the afternoon. I love coffee too, but my system prefers tea.

  2. What a delightful idea for a post! I currently have a mug of Green Earl Grey in front of me – a recent discovery that I am now obsessed with. I’ve also been drinking Bourbon Vanilla Rooibos and strong Scottish Breakfast. Tazo tea is delicious, though! Their Zen is my favorite.
