Deck the Halls Holiday Martini Ideas!
The holiday party season is upon us! If you are not having a Christmas party, you are probably attending one! And what do all holiday parties feature, a holiday drink. I attended a wonderful event at Kenny’s Burger Joint in Plano, Texas this week. Kenny’s lovely ladies behind the bar showed us how to make a few holiday martinis. I must admit I’m not a martini drinker but their enthusiasm was infectious so we all couldn’t wait to try their drinks. And another great feature at Kenny’s was their Grey Goose tap. Yes just like a beer tap, the bar has a Grey Goose tap that keeps the vodka at 28 degrees! So if you are feeling a little naughty this holiday, try one of these recipes!
Sapphire 75
– 2 oz Bombay Sapphire
-Splash lemon juice
-Splash simple syrup
-Splash Prosecco
Shake the first three ingredients together. Then top it off with a splash of Prosecco!
Frenchie
– 2 oz Grey Goose
– 1/2 oz Chambord
– 1/2 oz Pinapple Juice
– Splash Prosecco
Shake first three ingredients together and top with splash of Prosecco!
If you want you can use orange or vanilla vodka to add to the flavor. This was my favorite of the three. It has a nice sweet flavor.
Silent Nyquil
– 2 oz Stoli Vanilla
– Small shot of whipped cream
– .5 oz Peppermint Schnapps
– .5 simple syrup
– Splash of Creme de Menthe
– Splash of Blue Curacao
– Splash of Prosecco
Shape first four ingredients and pour into martini glass. Drop Creme de Menthe and Blue Curacao gently along the side of the glass. It will sink to the bottom and give you a nice blue/green color at the bottom. You will then splash with Prosecco. As you can imagine, this drink smells really good!
