A Thanksgiving Cheese Board

A Thanksgiving cheese board is the perfect appetizer for your holiday event! It’s also a wonderful time of year to add your favorite fall ingredients to your creation.

A Thanksgiving Cheese Board

What I love about a fall cheese board is the color. The color represents fall with beautiful oranges, reds, and browns. It’s also a great time to use your favorite fall-type ingredients like apples, walnuts, and figs. Add a few dry leaves and you have the perfect holiday platter.

The one thing I love about Thanksgiving is being able to eat without feeling guilty. This is the one day where enjoying what and how much you eat doesn’t feel like it weighs (literally) on you. When you add a good football game and a variety of pies, this is truly the perfect day for food lovers.

How to Put this Thanksgiving Cheese Board Together

Notes

  • Most Cheese should be served at room temperature. There are some exceptions but not on this board.
  • Remember to include utensils like spreaders and a nutcracker for this board.
  • This board can be served with a nice cold Chardonnay or Pinot Noir.

And remember to bring in the beautiful outdoors with this cheese board. Whether it’s changing leaves or branches or even pumpkins. This cheese board is one that will enjoy a little outdoor color. This may be my favorite time of year to create a new cheese board. And don’t forget the delicious wine or signature drink for the holidays.
