Avocado Brownies
Every once and a while you try a recipe that surprises you — good or bad, it makes you stop in your tracks. This Avocado Brownies recipe is one of those for me (and it’s in a good way).
I saw this come up on Buzzfeed’s Tasty food feed on Facebook and I knew I wanted to try it. I couldn’t figure out what an avocado could add to a typical brownie mix.
I thought maybe it would make it creamier. I was also expecting to see pieces of green inside the middle of the brownie, a little like my Zucchini Cupcakes. That happened but it’s not very noticeable. You can still hide this veggie inside a brownie and your kids will never know. Mine didn’t:)
What did happen was pure perfection! The brownie is incredibly moist — well done Tasty!
This Avocado Brownie is a big win for the baking world. I may be late to this genius party, but I’m glad I finally found it. I will make this now all the time!
Oh and did I mention the top comes out really crispy? It’s the perfect brownie! I hope you enjoy it!
If you, too, want to try this out, here’s the recipe!
