When it comes to school, making the right breakfast is just as important as lunch.  So if you are always running out the door to catch the bus, you will need these 5 On-the-Go Back to School Breakfast Ideas.

Here’s a look at the recipes we shared today:

Cheerios Bars

Shopping List:

  • 3 cups Honeynut Cheerios
  • 1/2 cup Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 1/2 Cup Honey


  • Line a square pan with parchment paper
  • In a saucepan, combine the peanut butter and honey until it starts to boil
  • Remove from the heat and add the Cheerios,  stir until it’s completely coated
  • Pour into pan and push down with parchment paper
  • Let cool for an hour and cut into squares

Nutella Burritos

Shopping List:

  • Flour Tortillas
  • Nutella
  • Banana or Strawberries, cut into bite size squares


  • Coat flour tortilla with Nutella spread
  • Add the peeled banana to the tortilla and roll into burrito
  • Or add sliced strawberries on top of Nutella and roll into burrito

Frozen Grapes & Blueberries with Yogurt

Shopping List:

  • Grapes, sliced in half
  • Blueberries
  • Plain Yogurt


  • Cut the grapes in half and place in plastic bag
  • Put in freezer overnight
  • Using a toothpick, dip the blueberries into yogurt and placed on parchment paper
  • Put into freezer for at least 1 hour (or overnight)

Avocado Toast with Strawberries & Honey

Shopping List:

  • Wheat bread, toasted
  • Avocado
  • Strawberries, cut into slices
  • Honey


  • Toast bread in toaster
  • Smash avocado with fork and add  to top of toast
  • Place slices of strawberries on top
  • Drizzle with honey
