Cucumber Cream Cheese Tea Sandwich
There is something so sophisticated about the tea sandwich! It reminds me of a British tea party or something as regal as that. One tea sandwich I absolutely love is this Cucumber Cream Cheese Tea Sandwich.
This tea sandwich is fresh, creamy and is perfect for an afternoon tea party, a girls luncheon or even a road trip!
I usually don’t eat white bread but white bread is perfect for this type of sandwich. The first thing I did was cut off the crusts.
Then spread plain softened cream cheese on each slice of the sandwich. This makes a sandwich within a sandwich.
The mint is what makes this sandwich so fresh. I just layered the mint over the cream cheese on only one slice.
Next is a layer of cucumber. The cucumber needs to be sliced extremely thin. The best part about a tea sandwich is how thin it is. So make sure your cucumber is sliced thin.
Then cut your tea sandwich in whatever shape you like. I like the narrow slices that make a great bite size.
Of course, a tea sandwich doesn’t need to be served with tea. This makes a great appetizer for a picnic, dinner party, or even a wine tasting.
Enjoy!

Recipe Notes
This is the perfect appetizer or meal for a girls luncheon.
I’ve seen lots of recipes that use watercress, but mint and cucumber sounds lovely! Another good use for all the mint leaves my mother gives us from her garden 🙂
It’s so fresh with the mint — you’ll love it Kyla!
