Why Make Iced Chocolate

I can’t tell you how many times my son has asked for this dessert. He’s made it so many times by himself, that he doesn’t even need me to make it anymore. It’s almost like making a chocolate milkshake or ice cream sundae. Everything goes in the blender and you have a simple, delicious dessert.

What’s inside an Iced Chocolate

Ingredients:

  • Hot chocolate packets (4)
  • Milk
  • Ice
  • Dark Chocolate Sauce
  • Whipped Cream
  • Organic Cacao powder for sprinkling

Put everything in the blender and the result is this creamy chocolate ice cream. It almost resembles a Wendy’s Frosty (and it’s just as good).

As with any good sundae or milkshake, the toppings are just as important as the filling. I used whipped cream, dark chocolate sauce, and Cacao Powder. A little sprinkle of this powder and you are actually fighting off heart disease.

  1. This is really good! i wouldnt put the whipped cream in because it would melt though (i didnt use cream though but it could be good) also put a little less ice in it too. i put heaps of chocolate sauce in it that made it way better and sweeter!

Depending on the size of the glass, this drink can be split into multiple glasses. My son likes it in a big, giant glass so he can have the entire drink:)
