Watermelon Berry Salad
We can’t get enough of watermelon this summer! Whether it’s on the grill or in a salad, we are just eating this up — literally! I had some leftover from the watermelon I made on the grill and wanted to make a light, fresh salad — and that is how this Watermelon Berry Salad was born!
And this recipe is bittersweet for me — I’m afraid my camera died after shooting this recipe:( I know this sounds silly but my camera became my buddy and partner while creating Burnt Macaroni. I didn’t or couldn’t do a recipe without it! So this recipe is the swan song for my first work camera! Of course, I have since picked up a new one, but it’s Au Revoir to my camera — you will be missed!
For this salad, I used watermelon, strawberries, blackberries, raspberries and blueberries. This just screams fresh to me.
Then I squeezed half a lime on top and mixed together.
It’s as simple as that!
This makes a great side dish to breakfast or your next bbq!

And goodbye to my camera — it was a good run! Looking forward to many years with my new one!
