Happy National Wine Day!

Burnt Macaroni - christmas gifts lemon water 026aToday is National Wine Day!  Did you know that?  May 25th is the day set aside to enjoy a glass of wine with dinner, dessert, with friends or by yourself!  I’m afraid wine day comes around a lot more in my house than once a year — so to celebrate National Wine Day, I wanted to share some of my favorite wines and wine gadgets!

De La Montanya Wines – Since our honeymoon to wine country in 2004, Mark and I have been members of the De La Montanya Winery.  We get two shipments a year.  We love their wine.  We get their red wines including a Cabernet Sauvignon and Primitivo!  If you are ever in Sonoma — near Healdsburg,  stop by De La Montanya Winery.

Scott Harvey Wine – Lately we have been drinking a lot of Scott Harvey Zinfandel.  It’s a great wine for the price.  If you can find it at a discount, definitely grab as many bottles as you can.  (affiliate links)

Riedel O Cabernet Glasses, Set of 6 with 2 Bonus Glasses – I love Riedel glasses and these come without the stem. I love the way these feel.

Wine Enthusiast Vivid Wine Decanter – I think a wine decanter is so important for a good bottle of wine. If you are having a party, decant your wine in advance so its ready to go for the party.

Waiters Corkscrew by HiCoup – Premium Rosewood Handle All-in-one Corkscrew, Bottle Opener and Foil Cutter – I’m pretty traditional. I love the corkscrew to open a bottle. This is a great price for this one.

18 Wine Glass Charms Drink Marker Set Shoes Martini Purse Enamel Bead Rhinestone – If you like to entertain, these are a must. You can keep everyone’s wine glass straight with these markers.

And if you are looking to throw a wine and cheese party, here are some ideas on Creating a Wine & Cheese Plate!
