We experience a few cold nights here in Texas but not as many as most. This drink is for anyone who enjoys a little wine but needs a little extra kick. I first made this for a cool December evening and it worked. Warmed me up in no time!

Slow Cooker Mulled Wine Recipe


Making this delicious mulled wine is extremely easy to make. And it will give your home a wonderful holiday aroma for a party or just a cold evening by the fire.

1 bottle of Red Wine (this is a cab)

1/4 cup Brandy

Peel of an 1/2 an Orange

1/4 cup Maple Syrup

4 whole Cloves

2 Cinnamon Sticks

2 Star Anise pods

Put all of the ingredients in a slow cooker an set on low. Cook for 1 hour and serve.

Add an orange slice, cranberries or even a slice of apple to the drink to add some freshness.
