End of Summer Barbeque!

With school starting this week, we are officially saying good-bye to summer.  And it couldn’t end soon enough!  Our last week consisted of 100 degree temperatures, back to school shopping, and oh yes….strep throat.  So as you can imagine, I haven’t done a whole lot of cooking.  So we opted for one of our favorite nights out…..a trip to our local Barbeque restaurant.

There is no shortage of good BBQ here in Texas.  From ribs to steaks on the grill, you can’t find a bad meal.  When we go, we get a taste of just about everything.

Who doesn’t love a great steak on the grill.  It’s my favorite meal!  I order it just about EVERY time I go out!

BBQ wouldn’t be the same without the sides.  From mac&cheese to baked potatoes to hot beans, we get it all.  And there is always enough to take home for leftovers.

But for us, a BBQ meal would not be complete without some ice cream.

And as you can tell, we don’t go for vanilla or chocolate!  Enjoy your end of the summer meal — whatever it may be!
