Fettuccine Alfredo!
I’m calling today Pasta Friday! Â We all love pasta! Â It’s easy, filling and can be great comfort food. Â I have never made Fettuccine Alfredo before and now after making this, I can’t believe I haven’t done it sooner. Â It’s sooooo easy! Â I will warn you, this is not a recipe for someone on a diet — it’s filled with butter, cream and cheese! Â But it’s a great compliment to any kind of meat or fish and it’s delicious!
Again the ingredients are easy. Â All you need is butter, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, Linquine pasta, and salt/pepper.
First grate your Parmesan cheese into 2 cups. Â Put one cup in a mixing bowl.
Warm up your butter and heavy cream. Â Add salt and pepper to taste.
Cook your Linquine in salt and olive oil. Â Follow instructions on cooking your pasta but slightly under-cook it. Â It will finish cooking when the butter/cream liquid is poured over it.
Go back to the mixing bowl where a cup of Parmesan cheese is waiting. Â Pour the melted butter/cream mixture over the cheese.
Then add your slightly under-cooked Linquine over the liquid mixture. Â And mix together.
Add the remaining cup of Parmesan cheese to the pasta. Â And mix all the way through.
Add a little extra pepper and garnish for taste and you have an easy Fettuccine Alfredo dish! Â Serve with garlic bread and a veggie and you have a complete meal. Â Or add chicken or fish and it makes a great side dish!
