This Apple Galette Recipe combines the fall tastes of brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg brought together with apples and a pie crust!
Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and roll out the pie crust into a circle shape
In a mixing bowl, combine the brown sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Add the apple slices and make sure each one is completely covered in the sauce.
Circle the apples around the pie crust leaving about 2 inches around the edges. Fill in the middle with additional apples. Fold over the edges of the pie crust to cover some of the apples.
Once the edges are rolled over, drizzle the remaining sauce over the apples. And brush the egg wash on the rolled over dough. Sprinkle with the sugar.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the pie crust is starting to brown and the apples are soft. Serve warm.
