Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Balsamic

There is something so easy and so delicious about this easy Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Balsamic recipe. This makes the perfect veggie side dish for a special occasion or a family dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds Brussels Sprouts peeled, trimmed, cut lengthwise
  • 3 tablespoons Olive Oil divided
  • 3/4 teaspoon Kosher Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Fresh Ground Black Pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Balsamic Vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons Honey
  • 3/4 cup Pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Remove the outer layer of the brussels sprouts and cut off the end. Then cut it in half lengthwise.

  3. In a mixing bowl, add the brussels sprouts, 2 tablespoons olive oil, salt & pepper and toss until well coated.

  4. Transfer the brussels sprouts to your baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until the sprouts are tender and starting to brown.

  5. Put the sprouts back in your mixing bowl and add the remaining olive oil, balsamic vinegar and honey, and mix. Add to a serving bowl and add the pecans. Season with more salt if needed.

Recipe Notes

  • Roasting the brussels sprouts give it a nice flavor but you can also saute them in a pan with a little olive oil.
